The Union Internationale de Banques – SGSS Tunisia (UIB) has just been honored by the specialized magazine Global Finance, which awarded it the title of “The World’s Best Sub-custodian Banks 2025” for Tunisia.
The survey, conducted by Global Finance in its 23rd edition, ranked the top service providers across 7 regions and 82 countries, based on various performance and service criteria.
The magazine considered market research, expert input, and bank feedback to select institutions that reliably deliver the best services in their respective markets and regions.
The evaluation criteria included client relations, service quality, competitive pricing, efficient exception handling, technological platforms, post-trade operations, business continuity plans, and knowledge of local regulations and practices. Performance was assessed over the period from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024.
This international award recognizes UIB’s expertise in its Custody business, launched in 2013.
This marks the eighth distinction from *Global Finance for UIB/SGSS Tunisia since 2015 and the nineteenth overall, including awards from Global Custodian” and “Global Investor.”
