Tunisia’s general unemployment rate fell from 16.5% to 15.2%, according to Hafedh Laamouri, Minister of Vocational Training and Employment, who criticized, in this context, the statements made by the media and officers in charge of election campaigns, according to which unemployment is increasing exponentially in Tunisia.
Laamouri has also indicated that the unemployment rate among university graduates fell from 33.2 to 31.4%, according to the latest statistics from the INS.
