The savings service has risen by 6% bringing the volume of savings to 3,941 million dinars against 3,716 million dinars in 2014, according to the recent report of the Tunisian Post.
In the same context, the number of savers at the post office reached 3,871,000 in 2015 against 3,764,000 in 2014.
The same report showed a slight decline in the number of accounts opened from 138 thousand in 2014 to 125 thousand in 2015.
The amount from these new accounts fell by 2, 25%, to 177 million dinars in 2015 against 181 million dinars in 2014.
