Tunisia: The dinar rises against the euro and the dollar

The Executive Board of the Central Bank, which met in late January 2014, noted the improvement experienced by the value of the dinar with an increase of 3.3% and 2.5% recorded against the euro and the U.S. dollar, respectively, since the beginning of the year, reaching 2.1947 and 1.6059 dinars to 29 January and this after posting a decrease of 9.7%, against the euro and 5.8% against the dollar at the end of 2013, compared to the end of last year.

The value of the dinar reached during the last two months of the year, minimum levels of 1.6830 dinar against the dollar and 2.3024 dinar vis-à-vis the euro on the foreign exchange interbank market.
