Tunisian hotel group Yadis Hotels has announced a series of new hotel openings across Tunisia for the coming few years indicating its confidence in Tunisia’s tourism sector following the Arab Spring uprisings.
The new hotel announcements were made at World Travel Market in London last week and follow the democratic election of a new government in Tunisia which the company said signaled “renewed stability and safety for the country”.
Yadis Hotels, which already has a portfolio of seven hotels in Tunisia, announced four new properties to be added its portfolio:
The five-star Yadis Imperial Beach & Spa Resort set to open in March 2012 will feature 489 rooms and is located on a private beach in Djerba. The all-inclusive hotel will offer a wide range of activities including a spa and conference centre.
Also in the pipeline is the four-star Yadis Oasis Tozeur, located close to the desert offering a “truly Tunisian experience.” The hotel will have 159 rooms and will allow guests to explore the nearby mountains and desert villages.
The Yadis Ksar Ghilane Luxury Camp located in the desert landscapes of southern Tunisia will offer 60 Bedouin style tents with swimming pools. And the Yadis Djerba Golf Thalasso & Spa will offer Thalasso wellness therapy.
