14th Rwanda International Trade Fair opens in Kigali

The 14th International Fair of Kigali began Thursday in the Rwandan capital, with 141 companies from 18 countries around the world participating, PANA reported from here.

The countries represented are Pakistan, Syria, India, Turkey, Ghana, Sudan, Burkina Faso, Senegal, DR Congo, Egypt, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Iran, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Burundi, the United States and Nigeria.

“Rwanda attaches great importance to private sector development and will continue its efforts to create a favourable environment for foreign investors,” said the deputy director of investments at the Rwanda Private Sector Federation (FRSP), Ephrem Karangwa.

The fair will run until August 10, according to the organizers
