The German Development Bank (KfW) has donated EUR 390,000 to the National Energy Control Agency (ANME) of Tunisia to finance studies on renewable energy.

“This donation will be spent on the development of feasibility studies for the establishment of a national program for the equipment of public companies with photovoltaic power self-generation stations,” said Hamdi Harrouche, Director of the ANME after the donation signing ceremony.

The feasibility studies will be carried out by foreign consultancy firms. The institutions involved in this project are health, higher education and national defense infrastructure. The Fund of Loans and Local Authorities, ONAS and SONEDE are also involved.
