The exchange rate of the dollar against the Tunisian dinar reached at the end of last week its lowest level since September 2018.
According to data from the Central Bank of Tunisia, the US dollar was trading last Friday on the interbank market at 2.776 dinars, its lowest level since September 25, 2018 (2.773 dinars).
The appreciation of the national currency against the dollar is mainly due to the depreciation of the latter against the euro.
On July 21, the single currency reached its highest level against the dollar in four months.
