Tunisian-Danish Chamber of Commerce announces launch of its new Board

The Tunisian-Danish Chamber of Commerce announced in a press release Thursday its launch and the formation of its new Board of Directors chaired by Mehdi Ben Abdallah.

The Tunisian-Danish Chamber of Commerce in Tunisia was created at the initiative and with the support of the respective chancelleries to set up the adequate platform to contribute to the creation of strong and perennial relations between the Tunisian and Danish business communities.

It also seeks to boost investment and trade opportunities between the two countries, and to improve the economic integration of Danish companies in Tunisia and Tunisian companies in Denmark.

Mehdi Ben Abdallah, President of this new organization voiced enthusiasm for the launch of the Tunisian-Danish Chamber of Commerce.

“There is a real potential in the development of bilateral Tunisian-Danish relations and the diversification of the spectrum of their economic partners, as well as a constructive synergy to be created between the two countries in sectors of certain interest such as energy, the green economy, agri-food, textiles, new technologies, the pharmaceutical sector, transport and the triangular relationship with Africa”, he stressed.

He also added that he was convinced that a great deal of work will be done to contribute to the development of Tunisian-Danish economic relations in partnership with the two governments and diplomatic representations, economic and social organizations, and the Tunisian-Danish Chamber based in Denmark.
