Exports to sub-Saharan Africa reached TND 1,528.4 million in 2023, compared to TND 1,541.6 million in 2022, representing a slight decrease of 1%, official data provided to AfricanManager by the Export Promotion Center (CEPEX) showed.
They account for 3.5% of total exports.
According to the same source, Senegal is Tunisia’s main customer in sub-Saharan Africa, accounting for 17.5% of exports, followed by Côte d’Ivoire (13.2%), Cameroon (7.8%), Guinea (6%), Gabon (5.5%), Burkina Faso (4.6%) and South Africa (4.2%).
