AMI Assurances achieved total revenues of 83.6 million dinars in the first half of the current year, compared to 87.3 million dinars on June 30, 2023, a decrease of 4.2%.
Non-life insurance recorded premium income of 71.8 million dinars, compared with 74.6 million dinars in the first half of the previous year, down 3.7%, mainly due to the decrease of 3.3 million dinars in premiums written in the motor insurance segment.
Written premiums in life insurance decreased by 7.3%, from 12.7 million dinars on June 30 to 11.8 million dinars at the end of June 2024.
Claims paid totaled 48.1 million dinars, compared to 47.3 million dinars at June 30, 2023, an increase of 1.8%.
Financial income and commissions remained stable at 18.3 million dinars and 10.5 million dinars respectively, compared with 18.6 million dinars and 10.8 million dinars in the first half of 2023.
