SIAME’s revenues recorded an increase of 8.6% at the end of the third quarter, compared to the same period of the previous year. Total sales reached the sum of 32.5 million dinars, compared to 30 million a year earlier.
The change in turnover during the first nine months of the current year can be explained by a strong increase in export turnover of 25.5%, from 10.3 to 12.9 million dinars, and a slight decrease in turnover on the local market of 0.2%.
This decrease was due to a 12.6% drop in sales to the local private market, compared to a 59.7% increase in sales to STEG.
Investments made at the end of the first nine months of 2024 amounted to 1.3 million dinars, compared with 1 million dinars in the same period of 2023, recording an increase of 22.8%.
In addition, SIAME’s bank debt fell from 26.2 million dinars to 19.2 million dinars between September 2023 and last September, a decrease of 26.7%.
