According to the report on the preliminary results of the execution of the State budget until the end of September 2024, the lion’s share of this budget was allocated to fuel, amounting to 3,297 million dinars (-3.4%).

The budget for transport subsidy remained almost unchanged at 522.1 million dinars at the end of September. However, the budget for commodity subsidy increased by 27% to 661.1 million dinars, compared to 520.9 million dinars a year earlier.

Fuel accounted for 73.7% of total subsidy, followed by basic products (14.7%) and transport (11.6%).
