Tunisia: BNA Assurances gets preliminary nod to list on TSE

The Board of Directors of the Tunis Stock Exchange, in a meeting held on June 24, 2025, granted preliminary approval for the admission of “BNA Assurances” shares to the main market of the stock exchange.

The final listing remains subject to the approval (visa) of the Financial Market Council, the Tunis Stock Exchange stated on Tuesday.

“BNA Assurances,” formerly known as “AMI Assurances,” was established in 2003 following the transfer of the insurance and reinsurance portfolio of the Ittihad Cooperative Insurance Company.

The company operated as a mutual insurer until the end of 2013, when it transitioned into a public limited company.

In the Tunisian insurance market, “BNA Assurances” now boasts one of the country’s most extensive networks, with 120 agencies and sales outlets across the territory.
