With 3,164 units registered in the first half of 2025, City Cars, the official distributor of the KIA brand in Tunisia, has established itself as the leader in the Tunisian automotive market for the Passenger Vehicles segment, with a market share of 14%.
The brand also ranks first in the overall Light Vehicles market, totaling 3,181 registrations and a market share of 10.6%.
This remarkable performance highlights KIA’s growing momentum in Tunisia, driven by the success of its flagship models such as the Kia Picanto, a bold and technologically accessible city car in the A segment, and the Kia Stonic, an urban crossover in the B segment, renowned for its daring style and excellent value for money.
City Cars reaffirms its commitment to offering innovative, reliable vehicles tailored to the expectations of Tunisian consumers, while ensuring high-quality after-sales service supported by a network of over twenty authorized agents covering the entire national territory.
The KIA lineup stands out for its richness and diversity, featuring models such as the Sonet, Seltos, Niro Hybrid, and the iconic KIA Sportage, an SUV available in gasoline or hybrid engines, providing a wide range of choices to meet the diverse needs of customers.
Alongside this success in the thermal and hybrid segments, City Cars continues its strategy to electrify the market with the introduction of 100% electric models.
Following the highly anticipated launch of the KIA EV6, the brand-new KIA EV9, a 100% electric SUV available in 6- or 7-seat configurations, has generated strong enthusiasm among customers drawn to electric innovation.
To support this energy transition, City Cars is expanding its nationwide charging infrastructure: 60 kW ultra-fast chargers are already operational at the EI Kram headquarters and certified EV dealerships in Sfax, Sousse, and Monastir, while new installations are planned soon in Gabès, Gafsa, and Djerba, thereby improving accessibility and territorial coverage for electric mobility.
