The Société de Fabrication des Boissons de Tunisie (SFBT) announced on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, that its Board of Directors has authorized executive management to begin negotiations for the potential acquisition of up to 100% of the capital of Carthage Grains.
Carthage Grains, a subsidiary of the Mokhtar Group, is active in oilseed crushing, animal feed production, and the extraction and marketing of vegetable oils.
In its official statement, SFBT emphasized that this prospective acquisition is part of its broader strategy to diversify and expand within the agri-food sector.
