The Société de Fabrication des Boissons de Tunisie (SFBT) published its interim financial statements as of June 30, 2025, showing a notable improvement in profitability despite a slight dip in revenue.
First-half revenues stood at 357.8 million dinars, compared to 367 million dinars a year earlier.
However, this decline did not prevent the company from optimizing its costs: operating expenses decreased from 290 million dinars to 280.5 million dinars, leading to an increase in operating profit from 79.4 million to 80.3 million dinars.
Net performance was even more striking. Net profit indeed climbed to 169.6 million dinars, compared to 154.6 million dinars in the same period of 2024, reflecting a significant increase of 9.7%.
In fact, investment income as of June 30 amounted to 107.2 million dinars, compared to 94.5 million dinars a year earlier, including 96 million dinars in dividends from equity securities.
In terms of taxation, corporate income tax amounted to 20.8 million dinars as of June 30, 2025, while the state contribution totaled 1 million dinars.
These results confirm SFBT’s ability to maintain a high level of profitability, even in a context of slightly lower revenues, thanks to cost control and operational optimization.
