Tunisia’s travel marketplace WildyNess secures pre-seed funding

Tunis-based startup WildyNess has secured an undisclosed pre-seed funding round to accelerate the growth of its sustainable travel marketplace across North Africa.

Founded in 2021 by engineers Achraf Aouadi and Rym Bourguiba, WildyNess operates as a B2C/B2B2C platform focused on community-based and sustainable tourism.

The marketplace connects conscious travelers with curated, locally co-created experiences, ensuring authentic immersion and tangible economic impact for small tourism operators.

By empowering micro-businesses to gain international visibility and increase revenue, WildyNess has positioned itself as a regional leader in authentic and community-driven travel experiences.

The latest funding round, co-led by Bridging Angels and the African Diaspora Network, marks a milestone for North Africa’s emerging travel tech scene.

Since its launch in 2022, the platform has generated over US$300,000 in organic sales, achieved without any paid marketing, validating both market demand and business viability.

“This investment validates our thesis: the future of travel lies not in volume, but in authenticity and impact,” said co-founder Achraf Aouadi.

“Our results show travelers are seeking genuine connections, not generic attractions. With the support of Bridging Angels and the African Diaspora Network, we’re ready to take this Tunisian success story across the MENA region.”

The newly raised capital will fund expansion into Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and the UAE, and will also be used to enhance the company’s technology infrastructure.

“We are proud to back African startups that redefine their industries with discipline, creativity, and deep customer empathy,” said Bridging Angels investors. “WildyNess perfectly embodies that spirit.”
