The Swedish electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider Inission has signed an agreement with a new client for its factory in Tunisia.
The client is a Danish multinational specializing in regulation and fluid balancing solutions for energy and industrial systems.
The partnership covers the production of components and sub-systems intended for the client’s global offering, mainly in Europe and North America.
The products are used in district heating and cooling, energy infrastructure and commercial buildings.
The project is set to start in the second quarter, with production ramp-up expected toward the end of the year, according to a company press release.
“This contract confirms our competitiveness in advanced manufacturing and our ability to support major energy infrastructure players. This project is part of our strategy and strengthens our offer to help clients relocate production closer to Europe,” said Fredric Grahn, Sales and Marketing Director at Inission.
The name of the client and financial details of the agreement were not disclosed in the press release.
