According to the activity indicators of BIAT (Banque Internationale Arabe de Tunisie) for the first half of the current financial year 2023, the banking operating income accumulated to TND 1,056,608, up more than TND 184,432 compared to the first half of 2022.
After bank charges (TND 364.93 million, up by almost TND 90 million), the net banking income (NBI) of Tunisia’s largest private bank exceeded TND 692.214 million at the end of June 2023, up by TND 94.5 million compared with the NBI achieved at the end of the first half of 2022.
It should also be noted that BIAT increased its net loans outstanding to almost TND 12 billion and that it took in more than TND 17.655 billion in deposits, including more than TND 8.770 billion in demand deposits and more than TND 4.273 billion in savings deposits.
