Tunisia: Belavia resumes charter flights to Enfidha after five-year pause

Belarusian airline Belavia has resumed charter flights to the Tunisian resort city of Enfidha after a five-year suspension, according to the airline’s press service quoted by BelTA.

The first flight departed Minsk on 22 May at 02:00, with tour operator Intercity serving as the flight consolidator.

Tunisia has remained a favored destination for Belarusian travelers since Belavia first launched flights to the country in 2014.

Before operations were halted, the airline’s Tunisia program had expanded significantly, with seasonal flights in 2019 operating not only from Minsk but also from several regional airports across Belarus, serving both Enfidha and nearby Monastir.

For the 2026 summer season, Belavia will operate charter flights to Enfidha every 11 to 12 days through October. The route is served by an Airbus A330-200 wide-body aircraft featuring an expanded economy-class cabin and a separate business-class section equipped with fully lie-flat seats.

The inaugural flight was nearly fully booked, with tickets currently available exclusively through package holiday offers.

“This destination is a natural addition to Belavia’s summer charter program,” said Vladimir Barkun, the airline’s Deputy Director General for Marketing and Foreign Economic Activity.
