The Compagnie Méditerranéenne d’Assurance et de Réassurance -COMAR Assurances- has published its financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2023, which will be submitted for approval to the Ordinary General Meeting to be held on April 26, 2024.
Last year, the company’s net profit increased by 45% to 44.2 million dinars, compared to 30.5 million dinars in 2022.
This increase was driven by strong growth in the non-life underwriting result, which rose from 20.6 million dinars to 35.9 million dinars, an increase of 74%.
The life insurance underwriting result has decreased by 26% to 4.6 million dinars from 5.3 million dinars in the previous year.
Investment income amounted to 96.2 million dinars at December 31, 2023, compared to 56 million dinars at the same date in 2022, an increase of 72%.
