Eyas Naif Assaf appointed as CEO of Ooredoo Tunisia

Ooredoo announced today the appointment of Eyas Naif Assaf as Chief Executive Officer of Ooredoo Tunisia, effective Saturday, January 10, 2026, succeeding Mansoor Rashid Al-Khater.

During a pivotal phase in the company’s journey, Mr. Al-Khater demonstrated visionary leadership that profoundly transformed Ooredoo Tunisia’s culture, strengthened its people-centric approach, and accelerated its business transformation.

Ooredoo expressed its sincere appreciation to Mr. Al-Khater for his remarkable leadership and for laying strong foundations for the future.

Mr. Eyas Assaf is a seasoned executive in the telecommunications and finance sectors, with more than 30 years of leadership experience at regional and international levels, including over 20 years within the Ooredoo Group.

A strategic, visionary, and transformation-driven leader, he is known for aligning financial strength, operational excellence, and human leadership to drive sustainable growth.

He joins Ooredoo Tunisia from his role as Deputy Group Chief Financial Officer at Ooredoo, where he played a key role in shaping the Group’s overall strategy and enhancing performance across its multinational footprint.

Throughout his career, Mr. Assaf has held several senior leadership positions within Ooredoo subsidiaries, notably as Chief Financial Officer at Indosat Ooredoo in Indonesia, Ooredoo Algeria, and Asiacell Communications in Iraq, gaining deep operational expertise in diverse and highly competitive markets.

Under his leadership, Ooredoo Tunisia will continue to strengthen its role in developing Tunisia’s digital infrastructure, while consolidating its market leadership, accelerating digital transformation and creating sustainable value for the company, its employees, partners, customers, and shareholders.
