Japanese perfumer Shiseido on the Tunisian market, in February

The Japanese perfumer Shiseido announced on Thursday it will begin doing business in Tunisia, with plans to market its global brand Shiseido, from February, in high-quality cosmetics shops.

The company is already established in Morocco and South Africa.

It is expected that sales will be high because local businesses have gradually established distribution channels in recent years to meet the growing market of cosmetics.

Shiseido will begin selling its makeup items in 10 stores in Tunis, during the first year. It aims to double the number of spaces offering Shiseido products in the country by 2014.
