Nigeria’s president Goodluck Jonathan will undertake a brief visit to Bamako, Mali, Thursday for the ceremonial inauguration of Mr. Ibrahim Boubacar Keita as the new Malian President.
A brief press statement here, signed by presidential spokesman Reuben Abati, said that President Jonathan, who would be a special guest of honour at the occasion, would be accompanied on the trip by the Minister of State (Foreign Affairs), Dr. Nurudeen Mohammed.
President Jonathan will return to Abuja immediately after the ceremony, the statement added.
