Mali: France donates data centre to Malian customs

France has donated a data centre, built at a cost of one billion francs CFA, to Mali for use by the Customs department of the African country, PANA reported from here Friday.

The Malian Economy and Finance Minister, Mrs Bouare Fily Sissoko, was on hand to take possession of the centre on Thursday at a ceremony witnessed by French ambassador to Mali, Gilles Huberson.

The donation of the centre follows a programme to modernize the Malian Customs administration during the 2011-2015 period.
