Mauritania: BINTER airline resumes flight to Mauritania

The Spanish private airline company, BINTER, on Monday said it resumed its flights to Nouakchott from the Canary Islands on 5 August.

“There will be three flights per week – Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays – with an ATR 72 aircraft with capacity for 72 passengers,” it said.

PANA recalls that after having served Nouakchott for several years, BINTER CANARIAS suspended its flights for what it called “circumstantial reasons” in 2012.

The company currently serves Casablanca, Agadir, Dakar, Banjul, Praia, Sal and Lisbon.

The archipelago of the Canary Islands, located near the Moroccan coast, is one of the main tourist destinations in Europe.
