Mauritania’s telecommunications regulatory body has warned the three mobile phone operators in the country to sit up following poor service delivery by them in the nation’s capital, Nouakchott.
An investigation by the regulatory body has revealed a 5 per cent drop rates on calls, which is beyond the acceptable rate.
It therefore warned the companies – Mauritel SA, Mattel SA and Chinguintal SA – to ameliorate the situation within 10 days starting 23 July.
