Rabat, Morocco (PANA) – Moroccan and Angolan businessmen announced here the crea tion of a friendship association which aims at intensifying economic and cultura l exchanges between both countries, reported local press Friday.
Called “Morocco-Angola Friendship Association” (AMA), the new organization’s aim is to lay the foundation for a lasting cooperation and strengthen ties between b oth countries in various fields, reported the independent newspaper “The Morning
of Sahara and Maghreb.”
Its aim will also be to make easier, exchanges between Moroccan and Angolan busi nessmen in particular, in the communication and cultural field, within the frame w ork of the south-south cooperation.
In the cultural field, the association aims to organise a Moroccan Week in Angol a in order to make known the cultural heritage of the Alawite Kingdom to the Ang o lans, according to the newspaper.
