A new domestic airline, Discovery Airways, is due to commence operations in Nigeria by mid-December, according to its spokesman, Benjamin Adigun.
He said the airline had taken delivery of a Boeing 737-300 aircraft, one of the three being expected by it within the next month.
”The aircraft which arrived the country from England last month will be involved in demonstration flights as part of the process for the issuance of the Air Operators’ Certificate (AOC),” he said.
Discovery Airways is coming on the heels of another new domestic operator, Med View Airlines.
Arik Air, Aero Contractors and Dana are among other domestic airlines operating in the country.
