A chartered plane with four persons on board, including crew members, on Thursday overshot the runway while landing at the Port Harcourt International Airport in southern Nigeria, aviation officials said.
None of the occupants of the plane was injured, and a spokesman for the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Victor Arisa, said the incident would not disrupt scheduled flights in an out of the airport.
PANA learnt that a slippery runway due to persistent rainfall was the cause of the incident
