Rwanda: Fuel prices fall in Rwanda

The pump price of fuel has fallen in Rwanda, following the implementation of the reform programme on the regulation of oil product price, according to a communique issued here Thursday by the Rwandan Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

It said that since Tuesday midnight, the premium unleaded gasoline or diesel costs 1.010 Rwandan francs (US$ 1.48) a litre against the previous price of 1.030 Rwandan francs (US$ 1.51) a litre.

The ministry said the fall is in accordance with the reform programme which makes the price of fuels float according to oil prices in the international market.
