The Rwandan Ministry of Health has closed all restaurants and hotels frequented by tourists in the capital city of Kigali, because they were found to be in unsanitary conditions, PANA reported from here Kigali Sunday.
The closure followed a major operation being conducted by Rwandan officials, who have been carrying out surprise raids on various restaurants in the Rwandan capital and its surroundings in order to ascertain their conditions under which they operate.
Rwandan authorities plan to transform the city of Kigali and the entire country to a centre of attraction for investors and tourists
