Senegal: AfDB’s new regional representative assumes office

The new regional representative of the African Development Bank (AfDB), Mauritanian Mamadou Lamine N’Dongo, assumed office earlier this month in Dakar, the Capital of Senegal, according to the Pan African institution.

N’Dongo, who replaces Moroccan Leila Mokadem, was appointed in Oct. 2013 to head the regional office that oversees Cape Verde, Gambia, Guinea-Bissau and Senegal.

Until his appointment, he served as a Senior Adviser at the Bank.
