Senegal: BADEA sponsors African countries for 7th Afro-Arab Trade Fair

Arab Bank for the Economic Development of Africa (BADEA) is sponsoring the 7th Afro-Arab Trade Fair to be held in Casablanca, Morocco, by financing the participation of African countries.

An official statement received by PANA in Dakar on Sunday said BADEA was taking the step given the importance of such events in strengthening economic cooperation and Arab-African solidarity in addition to identifying new investment opportunities and promoting Arab and Arab-African investment.

The fair will be held from 19 to 23 March. A symposium under the theme: “Promoting Arab-African trade in the field of health” will be organized as a sideline event.

The statement said unlike the previous editions, the fair would be devoted to the health sector.

It aims to promote cooperation between African and Arab countries in the area of health and development. Equally, it provides a unique opportunity for operators in the sector to identify investment opportunities and build a sustainable partnership.

The fair would also help exchange experience and technological knowledge in the health sector, enabling operators to access the latest news in the medical field.

Arab and African financial institutions concerned with the issues of supporting Afro-Arab trade cooperation would participate in the symposium.
