The 11th international conference of the Francophone Union of internal auditing (UFAI) will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday next week in the Senegalese capital, Dakar, PANA reported, quoting a communiqué issued here Tuesday.
The conference whose theme is “Internal auditing, advantages to good governance for organizations”, will bring together specialists from several countries of Africa, Europe and Canada.
“The conference will be the opportunity for the more than 500 participants to share and exchange experiences,” says the communiqué.
Set up in 1989, under the aegis of the French Institute of consultant internal auditors (IFACI), UFAI brings together the associations and institutes of internal auditing from francophone countries.
The organization is headed by the Canadian Mireille Harnois, elected during the 10th UFAI conference in October 2012 in the Tunisian city of Yasmine Hammamet.
