The stock market continued its positive momentum, with the benchmark index rising 1.3% to 19,807.27 points in strong trading volume of 19.3 million dinars, bringing its performance since the beginning of the year to 47.3%, according to analysis by brokerage firm Tunisie Valeurs.
ASSURANCES MAGHREBIA VIE posted the session’s best performance. In trading volume worth 54,000 dinars, the stock surged 6% to 10.460 dinars.
AMEN BANK also delivered a strong performance, gaining 5.6% to close at 83.500 dinars. The stock generated significant turnover of 1.4 million dinars during the session.
MAGASIN GENERAL recorded the session’s weakest performance, falling 4.5% to 13.370 dinars, in very limited trading volume of just 1,000 dinars.
STIP also ended the session in negative territory, declining 4.5% to 10.270 dinars, with modest trading worth 7,000 dinars.
TELNET was the most traded stock of the session. The share slipped 0.9% to 12.600 dinars, while generating transactions worth around 3.2 million dinars.
