Tunisair Express resumes service to Tozeur

Tunisair Express has announced the resumption of its service to Tozeur as of October 1, 2020.

This resumption follows the completion of the work on the Tozeur-Nefta international airport and its reopening to air traffic.

Tunisair Express will operate two weekly flights on Thursdays and Sundays by its brand new aircraft.

The scheduling of these flights is part of Tunisair Express’ mission to open up the regions, as well as being part of its usual approach of providing unfailing support to the tourism sector and in particular to Saharan tourism in the southwest region.

The choice of Thursdays and Sundays as days of flight operations is dictated by the commercial expectations of international tour operators and local travel agencies, particularly during the high tourist season which extends in this region between autumn and spring.

The flights will also allow local residents and economic operators in the region to reach the capital more easily.

Tunisair Express’ fleet currently consists of ATR 72-600 aircraft equipped with the latest generation turboprop engines that entered into service in the last quarter of 2019.

They offer optimal comfort conditions thanks to their state-of-the-art cabin configuration, 45 cm wide seats and more spacious baggage storage areas.

Tunisair Express kindly reminds its passengers of the need for strict application of the health protocol in force throughout the entire journey, and in particular the mandatory wearing of masks in accordance with current regulations in order to protect passengers and flight and ground staff.
