Tunisia: 25,000 Libyans crossed Ras Ajdir on Eid Al-Fitr holiday

25,000 Libyan citizens crossed the Ras Ajdir border point to Tunisia within three days of the Eid Al-Fitr holiday, said director of the border crossing directorate between Libya and Tunisia, Salem Al-Akaak.

He was quoted by the “Libya Observer” as saying “many citizens postponed the dates of medical and tourism trips during the month of Ramadan, so we raised the degree of preparation for Eid Al-Fitr holiday,”

He also confirmed the smoothness of the entry and exit process, indicating that the directorate instructed to open a corridor for emergency cases such as patients or official delegations, due to the severe congestion at the border crossing.
