The State’s financial transfers to public enterprises (a sample of 88 entities) reached TND 14.5 billion in 2022, according to the Report on Public Enterprises published by the Ministry of Finance.
Compared with 2021, financial transfers from the State have increased by 73% or TND 6.1 billion.
The increase represents almost all the financial transfers for the whole of 2020.
On the other hand, payments made by public enterprises on behalf of the State amounted to TND 7.6 billion, compared with TND 6.4 billion in 2021, an increase of 18.5%.
As a result, the balance will be negative by TND 6.9 billion in 2022.
