Tunisia: 27,000 homes threatened by stoppage of phosphate production

Hela Cheikhrouhou, Minister of Energy, Mines and Renewable Energy, said this Wednesday, October 5, 2016 wild stops of phosphate production affect not only the majority of Tunisians through public finances, but also the region itself by directly threatening 27,000 homes.

She told African Manager in this context that people must realize that the company that feeds families is sick.

The solution, according to her, is reducing costs of the group and revision of the wage structure and composition of employees if populations continue to block the transfer of phosphate.
