Tunisia has become the 2nd largest supplier of olive oil to the U.S., totaling $193 million, predominantly bottled, said the US embassy in Tunis.
This market for bottled olive oil is highly profitable for Tunisian exporters.
“Tunisia’s bottled olive oil has gained immense popularity in the U.S. due to its high quality and preference among American consumers,” the embassy added.
