Over 4,000 files concerning properties owned by foreigners have been regularized out of a total of 7,200 files, Minister of State Property and Land Affairs, Wajdi Hedhili announced, according to Mosaique FM.

He specified that his ministry is working to simplify the legal framework governing the transfer of these properties to accelerate the regularization of the remaining files.

The minister also revealed that a draft law is being prepared to improve the management of properties seized since 2011, in coordination with the Prime Ministry.

Additionally, a program to digitize public land assets has cataloged more than 10,000 properties in a unified system, in partnership with the Office of Topography and the National Remote Sensing Center, aiming to ensure transparency and fight corruption.
