Phosphate production reached 500 thousand tons in November 2016, Prime Minister Youssef Chahed said at the opening of the 31st edition of the “Business Days” last Friday in Sousse, describing this figure as satisfactory and comfortable.
“If we continue with this pace, we will end up with an annual production of around 6 million tons,” Chahed added.
In the same context, the Prime Minister said positive signs have been observed in certain sectors of activity during this last period, without hiding that the situation is still fragile.
