Tunisia: 6 companies pledge to hire 4,320 people

Several partnership agreements were signed on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, between the National Agency for Employment and Self Employment (ANETI) and six companies, on the sidelines of the national conference on the promotion of employment held at the City of the Culture.

The first agreement was signed with a company specializing in the auto parts industry that plans to recruit 1,200 people.

The second agreement was concluded with a company specializing in the production of services (PSZ) which intends to hire 600 job seekers.

The other agreements were signed with Téléperformance, the Turkish company ASFUR specializing in upholstery and Enda Tamweel, which plans to create 2,520 jobs in total.

The signing of these agreements is part of the public-private partnership and the department’s participatory approach with large companies.

The objective is to encourage these companies to create job positions in the different specialties in order to develop their competitiveness and boost the national economy.

These six companies are among 72 companies that have expressed willingness to recruit nearly 19,000 people in the public and private sectors, and this, during the awareness campaign conducted by ANETI until the end of May.

This awareness campaign aims to encourage businesses to create jobs in the regions.
