By the end of the year, the IMF will release a loan of $ 500 million for Tunisia, said Finance Minister Elyes Fakhfakh, at a press conference held Monday, October 28 in Tunis.
Tunisia will also receive from the World Bank, half of the loan requested, or $ 250 million, while the second tranche of the loan will depend on the progress of reforms required.
Fakhfakh also said that the European Union has agreed to release a loan of 300 million Euros in 2014.
