The first issuance of Islamic bonds (sukuk) by Tunisia has been postponed until 2014, after having been set for November or December of this year, said Finance Minister Elyes Fakhfakh at a press conference held Monday, October 28 in Tunis.
Note that the National Constituent Assembly (NCA) had adopted in July the bill relating to the issuance of Islamic Sukuk by the State on the international market to raise between 500 and 700 million dinars.
