Tunisia 77th in Best Countries for Business Ranking

U.S. magazine “Forbes” has just published its 2013 ranking of the Best Countries for Business. According to Forbes, Tunisia is ranked in the 77th spot ahead of Morocco (78th).

Also according to the same source, Tunisia and Morocco are ranked ahead of Egypt (138) and Algeria (138). At the African level, Tunisia was ranked eighth. It comes after South Africa (41), Rwanda (49), Botswana (60), Zambia (68), Ghana (69), Cape Verde (71) and Seychelles (72).

Forbes determined the Best Countries for Business by grading 145 nations on 11 different factors: property rights, innovation, taxes, technology, corruption, freedom (personal, trade and monetary), red tape, investor protection and stock market performance.

The data came from published reports from Freedom House, Heritage Foundation, Property Rights Alliance, Transparency International, World Bank and World Economic Forum.
