Tunisia: 85,000 jobs created since January 2012

As many as 85,000 jobs have been created in Tunisia since the beginning of this year, Minister of Employment and Vocational Training Abdelwahab Maatar told Express FM Radio.

Fifty three thousand jobs were provided through the Fund of promotion of employment and 30 thousand through employment offices, he also said.

The minister did not specify the nature of jobs created (temporary, casual, permanent). He reminded that this figure is close to that of the 100,000 jobs which he has promised to create this year.
