Tunisia and Libya sign MoU in a bid to restore pace of trade

Tunisia’s Export Promotion Centre (CEPEX) and the Libyan Export Promotion Centre, on Thursday, signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at implementing a joint program of action for period 2020-2021.

The program concerns joint study of international markets to facilitate the export of both countries’ products, besides organizing joint events and business missions to these markets and holding meetings between Tunisian and Libyan businessmen to carry out joint projects.

The MoU also stipulates the implementation of training and development programs in the fields of commercial representation, market studies and exchange of experts as well as the promotion of successful experiences to strengthen export operations between the two countries.

It was signed by CEO of CEPEX Youssef Neji and Director General of the Libyan Export Development Centre, Mohamed Ali Dhib.
